SHAD’s commercial staff in France got together for two days at our main headquarters in Mollet. The reason for this gathering was to share the business goals in France, a very important market, and to present the projects that are currently underway.
SHAD representatives also visited the facilities in Mollet, Vilanova del Vallés and Sabadell to see first-hand the processes that are carried out in these production centers, as well as the improvements that have been implemented since their last visit.
Among these improvements are:
- 6,000 m2 of new facilities for manufacturing mounts and metal parts.
- Expanded facilities for seat manufacturing:
- 1,000 m2 for upholstery and foam storage
- 4,500 m2 for smart warehousing
- Manufacturing of the SH38X at our facilities in Barcelona
- Expansion of the SHAD case warehouse by 20%
The implementation of these improvements has a direct effect on the quality of the products and on improved service to customers and dealers.
