French rider Romain Dumontier, at the handlebars of a Honda CRF 450 equipped with a SHAD NAD seat, came in third place in the current edition of the Rallye Dakar, which wrapped up last weekend.
Dumontier, who participated in the Rallye 2 category (reserved for standard bikes), rode a very smart race, continuously progressing to preserve the mechanics in one of the toughest races in the world, to attack in the second week of competition and earn a spot on the podium.
The French rider emphasized the features of the special seat prepared for him by SHAD NAD, with a combination of foams that provided comfort on the long transition stages and the necessary hardness in the areas with maximum speed.
