SHAD launches the only tank bag with security system to the bike and inside the bag. It will be a new Click System bag, which also allows the bag to be removed from the tank in a few seconds at the push of a button.
SHAD, a benchmark brand in motorcycle luggage solutions, comes to the market with a new in-house development that improves the performance of the previous tank bag systems.
Click System is the evolution of the quick fitting system for tank bags of the Barcelona brand. The new system, in addition to its ease of use and integration into the motorcycle, stands out for its push button which allows the bag to be quickly and easily unlocked by simply pressing it.
After being presented at the last edition of Eicma, Click System appears with 7 references of bags to adapt to it, and a compatibility of more than 200 motorcycle models. Among many others, there are the new 2023 versions of relevant models such as the BMW GS, Yamaha MT09, Kawasaki Z900, Ducati Multistrada or Honda Africa Twin.
The new tank bags, on sale from April 2023, are available in three different bag sizes: the E03 (3 liters), the E09 (5 liters) and the TR15 (13 liters). The latter, with external pockets for greater capacity and an expandable pocket for better adaptation to the shape of the bike’s tank, is included in the TERRA range, while the first two have been designed for more asphalt/urban use.
Double Lock: to open and to remove the bag
The great novelty that was not presented at Eicma is the E091CL. This advanced model of the E09 has an integrated combination lock to prevent opening and/or access to the contents of the bag. This contribution guarantees additional safety in a short period of time with the bag mounted and secured to the motorcycle. This small evolution makes it ideal for trips or outings where we leave the motorcycle parked to stop at bars, restaurants, or gas stations, making it difficult to steal the contents.
The three bags are offered in two different versions, “C” (Click System) and “CL” (Click System Locked). The so-called “CL” will have a locking system with key to the fitting. They are all perfectly integrated into the motorcycle by means of a discreet horseshoe-shaped fitting that is installed on the motorcycle’s tank cap.
Both versions will feature a lockable zipper and the waterproof case and shoulder strap will be included as standard accessories.
