At SHAD, we strongly believe in the circular economy as a key tool to reduce waste and make the most of materials. These efforts have enabled us to prevent a significant amount of waste from entering the landfills, giving new life to materials and supporting cooperation with specialized companies.
In 2024, we managed to re-use:
- · 603 polyol/isocyanate containers for new purposes.
- · 730 wood pallets, preventing them from being destroyed and promoting their re-use.
- · More than 220 tons of materials, including:
o 165 tons of iron for transformation into new products.
o 89.02 tons of cardboard.
o 29.07 tons of scrap metal.
o 19.54 tons of foam.
o 9.09 tons of plastic film.
o 3.22 tons of aluminum.
We recognize that being completely sustainable is a challenge, but we’re continuing to make progress with real, measurable steps. Through innovation, cooperation and transparency, we will continue to lead the change toward a more responsible, planet-friendly future.
