At SHAD, we strive each and every day to minimize our environmental impact and to move towards a more sustainable model. Through specific measures and tangible results, we are demonstrating our commitment to the environment and social responsibility.
One of our main initiatives is to attain more efficient manufacturing processes. We have implemented various actions to optimize the consumption of resources in our factories, achieving important reductions in the environmental impact per unit produced. Between 2022 and 2024 (January to August), we have achieved the following reductions:
- · Electricity: 48% per unit produced.
- · Gas: 29.4% per unit produced.
- · Water: 50% per unit produced.
- · Paper: 29% per unit.
These improvements are the result of:
- · Installing solar panels to generate renewable energy.
- · Digitalization of processes to reduce the use of paper.
- · Improving energy efficiency in manufacturing processes.
These advances reflect our ongoing commitment to sustainability without compromising production levels.
