EICMA 2024 is revving up its engines. Barely three weeks until the start of the leading two-wheel vehicle event in Milan, which will celebrate its 110th anniversary, SHAD is preparing the final details for this must-attend event.
The SH38X Expandable side case will continue to be the focus of our presence at EICMA 2024. The truth is, one year after its presentation, this case has provided fantastic results for the company.
Production challenge
The manufacture of the SH38X Expandable case posed a challenge in terms of optimizing our production processes. It is industrially the most complex case we have ever manufactured, as it requires the assembly of nearly 100 components.
Due to the high demand, manufacturing processes have been optimized, investing in the production line and expanding equipment to increase our production capacity by 75%.
Pioneers in Expandability
The success of the SH38X Expandable case has led to other positive results, as in the case of the TOP SH59X Expandable and SH58X Expandable trunks, which have increased their sales by 40% in 2024. This confirms the milestone that SHAD has set as a goal: to position itself as a reference in expandability.
NEW PRODUCTS
For the first time ever, SHAD will present the following products at our stand in EICMA:
TR41 TOP Trunk
This trunk from the Terra family is manufactured in polypropylene, with a steel closure with a built-in handle and an aluminum cover.
Its band, base and reinforced covers design makes it the sturdiest, most rugged trunk in the category, with room to store two jet helmets and capable of transporting a maximum load of 5 kg.
TR40 adventure side saddlebag
After a year of absolute success in terms of sales, we will introduce some improvements in the usability of this product. Improvements have been made to the inner bag, the reflective material and points of support on the base.
SHAD Locks
Within our range of security accessories, we present the following new products:
Disc Locks
We introduce three models of disc locks: SC21, SC 61A and SC62A. The latter two include a 120 dB alarm. All three models will be available in yellow and carbon fiber.
Handlebar lock with alarm
The new 4 Series reinforces the concept of security, incorporating a 120 dB alarm.
Latest launches
SHAD has taken a new step forward in diversifying our product range with the presentation of the TR30 side saddlebag and the TR10 tank bag, with waterproofing as a special feature.
This characteristic has been well received by the market from the very moment both products were launched. Likewise, the TR30 features the Double Locking System, a security system that allows you to secure the case to its anchor by key, and at the same time, prevent it from being opened. Its easy installation, along with the technical materials with advanced features used in its production make the TR30 the ideal side bag for off-road trips.
SHAD BIKES
In other important news, SHAD Bikes will be present at EICMA for the first time. This new SHAD business unit develops bags made for convenient use on and off the bike.
