Engineering and design come together in the SH38X Expandable to create a luggage set that stands out for its expandable mechanism, based on the concept coming from architecture: Tensigrity.
This technology has been adapted to the needs of the motorcycle world to create a new concept unique to date: dynamic tensigrity. An innovative mechanical system of compensated tension that allows the cases to expand and contract telescopically in a matter of seconds and uniformly. Its cutting-edge design and technology have earned it the prestigious Reddot Design Award 2024.
The SH38X expands +70mm, which increases its volume by 40%, allowing to store an XL modular helmet inside (ECE 22-06). This makes the SH38X the most compact expandable helmet side case on the market.
Ideal for any regular motorcycle user who values to have an extra load capacity at a given time. Or for all those bikers who want to reduce the width of their bike with the equipment installed and improve safety and riding sensations on their motorcycle trips.
The design of the locking system rests on the 3P or 4P* system, achieving maximum integration with the motorcycle.
In addition, the “Double Locking System” locking system is used to lock it on the attachment and, at the same time, prevent access to the interior of the case.
The SH38X Carbon joins the current range of expandable top cases SH58X and SH59X, allowing the most demanding and advanced bikers to have a set of EXPANDABLE top and side cases. More details:
